Financial Engineering Trainings

Based on the domain knowledge in finance, financial engineering combines mathematics, statistics, econometrics, and information technologies to build up models in financial markets and solve complicated problems, such as financial data analysis, modeling building, designing, pricing, hedging of financial derivatives, and risk management of portfolios. It could also be extended to applications in pricing insurance products, actuarial science, analysis of investment strategies (such as real options), and Fintech.

Our department provides fundamental courses in finance, mathematical statistics, and information science, and the financial engineering program. For further academic pursuit, the division of financial engineering or related courses (Quantitative Finance, Mathematical Finance, Computational Finance, and Risk Management) are available in many prestigious domestic and foreign universities at the graduate level.
